A rear-mounted battery pack distributes the lamp's 5.6-ounce weight for comfort and serves as a platform for the flashing safety LEDs.

Regulated LED output assures consistent brightness throughout a charge; regulated runtimes are 5 hours on spot high and 6.5 hours on spot low. Totals beyond regulated runtimes are 48 hours on spot high, 80 hours on spot low, 60 hours on flood high and 100 hours on flood low.
